The Miami-Dade County service began in 1998, providing quality hospice care
to patients and families throughout the area. The medically directed team of
nurses, physicians, chaplains, social workers,volunteers and office staff
compassionately care for patients and families who are facing end of life
issues, regardless of their ability to pay. The staff, many who are
bi-lingual, understands the needs of their patients. They are always eager
to answer questions brought to them, and bring comfort to the patient and
family.
The administrative office is conveniently located near the airport at
1200 N.W. 78th Avenue Suite 101. Service is provided to families throughout
the county. A patient may be tended to in the comfort of their own home,
living facility, nursing home or hospital. HospiceCare has also cared for
patients who live on boats! Patients and families may be confident that
expert care is being provided, regardless of their environment.
