Miami Open House Social a Success

HospiceCare of Southeast Florida celebrated National Hospice Month at their new Miami-Dade facility on Thursday, November 1, 2007 from 4 to 8 p.m. Guests were serenaded by a guitarist and a violinist as they entered and shared in our celebration of our new location at 8405 NW 53rd Street, A-200, Doral, FL 33166. This Open House social was an opportunity for many guests to learn more about their community hospice, serving South Florida for over 25 years.

Our dedicated volunteers conducted tours of the new location and were pleased to share their experiences. This complimentary Open House was full of surprises with prizes including golf for two at the Doral Golf & Spa and a boat ride of Biscayne Bay, courtesy of Shake-A-Leg Miami while many enjoyed the live music, great food, and drinks.

HospiceCare is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing physical, emotional and spiritual care to individuals and their families coping with end of life decisions. Founded in 1981, H.C.S.E. serves Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe County residents in private homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities or wherever the patient calls "home". HospiceCare of Southeast Florida, Inc., offers bereavement counseling, programs for children and adolescents and a variety of community outreach and educational programs to the medical community, schools, business groups and organizations.
