WINGS BOOK

Fuzzy is Christopher’s best friend. He is a colorful caterpillar whose spirit has grown too big for his body. The time has come for Fuzzy to change form.

A story of transformation about accepting change, Wings is an understandable analogy between the life cycle of a caterpillar and our own life and death.

THE ILLUSTRATOR
THE ILLUSTRATOR

Judy C. Schwinghammer’s art has received numerous awards and remains in the permanent art collection at her alma mater, Indiana University. She gained considerable experience in children’s art as an elementary art instructor.

The inspiration for the artwork for “Wings” relates to challenges she experienced as a young child with polio. Through these illustrations she hopes to reach out and help others.
