Hospice Hundred
Presents $25,000 to HospiceCare

Ft. Lauderdale, FL….Hospice Hundred, Inc., a volunteer organization supporting HospiceCare of Southeast FL, presented Susan G. Telli, CEO of HospiceCare of Southeast Florida $25,000 at their annual meeting held at the beautiful home of Sharon Stiles. Susan thanked everyone very much for continuing to support the programs and services provided by HospiceCare. “Your hard work makes our mission so much easier.” she stated. Hospice Hundred creatively raises these funds through many different events during the year.

There was a feeling of excitement as Hospice Hundred introduced their 2007-2008 Board of Directors. City of Fort Lauderdale Commissioner Charlotte Rodstrom installed new President Alyson Beasley Kass, Vice- President Membership, Barbara Winston; Vice- President Ways and Means, Kendall Spencer; Vice-President Public Relations, Andrea Waters; Treasurer, Monique Noblett; Ass't Treasurer, Tucker Jaxtheimer, Recording Secretary, Kathryn Glenewinkel; Corresponding Secretary, Christine Forman; Parliamentarian, Kathy Molinet; and Historian, Chris Krause, urging them to continue their dedication and support of the community . Congratulations to the 2007-2008! “Hospice Hundred welcomes this new board, and is looking forward to the coming year. We are so thankful for the all the members, and for their commitment to support HospiceCare of Southeast Florida, Inc.” stated Pat Byrnes, outgoing President.
Look out for this year's events! Starting off in October the Best of the Best Luncheon, featuring high profile men of our community, then in December, Home for the Holidays, February 2008, Red & White Martini and in April 2008 the 5k 17th Street Causeway Run. These activities encourage the community to be a part of a giving organization while enjoying quality time with friends and family.
Hospice Hundred is strictly a volunteer based program that was created to educate and inform the community of the Hospice concept, develop financial resources to support the program and recruit volunteers to accomplish these goals. HospiceCare of Southeast Florida appreciates the donation, which will benefit and assist patients and their loved ones. Hospice is a special way of caring…peace, comfort and dignity.
