HospiceCare of Southeast Florida, Inc. will celebrate our 14th annual Hospice Regatta and Famous Clambake on Saturday, May 15, 2010. Come enjoy the beautiful beaches and weather that South Florida has to offer, while raising funds for a worthy cause: the care of patients and families facing end of life decisions. The Regatta continues to be a wonderful way to enjoy a relaxing and fun filled weekend while giving back to the community. The overall regatta winner will qualify as HospiceCare of Southeast Florida, Inc.’s representative at the National Hospice Regatta Championship in 2011. The Regatta is a volunteer driven event, and all proceeds benefit the patients and families of HospiceCare of Southeast Florida, Inc.
Calling all sailing enthusiasts! This 12 mile course will provide some tough competition in a relaxed atmosphere offering a variety in classes and skill levels. Raising funds for Hospice Regatta 2010 is appreciated and welcomed. HospiceCare welcomes sailors to reach out to friends, family, and the community to raise funds through the Regatta Fundraising Rewards Program. For each dollar raised, that sailor earns points which are redeemable for various “Regatta Rewards.” In addition, the individual becomes eligible for the Wes Holmes Memorial Trophy and earns the title of our Top Fundraiser. All funds raised from this event allow us to continue to carry out our mission of providing quality end of life care to patients with a terminal illness and support to their families regardless of age or ability to pay. We appreciate your efforts and look forward to your enthusiastic participation in this great program!

There are a variety of opportunities available to help HospiceCare of Southeast Florida, Inc. raise funds for our Hospice Regatta 2010. After a day of sailing off of Fort Lauderdale Beach, sailors, family, and friends are invited to gather at Esplanade Park for our Famous Lobster Clambake! The night will open at 6:30 pm with delicious cuisine including lobsters and steamed clams compliments of Tropical Acres, not to mention Matusalem Rum, a silent auction, and a live band! The Lobster Clambake is a great evening filled with fun, and we welcome you all to join us!
