VOLUNTEERS TRAINING
Volunteers are the heart and soul of HospiceCare of Southeast Florida, and are important members of the teams who offer emotional support and comfort to both the patients and their families. Hospice volunteers vary in ages, ethnicity, social and professional backgrounds and all share a common desire to serve their community.Volunteers, who wish to work with patients, are required to attend two nine-hour training courses on two consecutive Saturdays at an informal setting in the comfortable living room at Hospice. At the training course, the following subjects are covered:
